Two men were arrested in Tobago yesterday morning after being stopped by officers of the Old Grange Police Station.
According to police, around 11.30 Insp Earl Aurthur, Sgt Wilson and Sgt Clarke of the CID Scarborough and officers of the Organised Crime Narcotics and Firearms Bureau (OCNFB) intercepted a panel van with two men at Milford Road, Crown Point. When they searched the vehicle a Glock pistol was found. The officers then searched the home of one of the occupants, a 28-year-old man, of Silk Cotton Trace, Bon Accord, where they found two loaded magazines. One contained 22 rounds of ammunition and the other contained eight rounds of ammunition. The officers also seized a small quantity of marijuana.
