A Claxton Bay man remains warded at hospital after he was shot in the leg by a bandit on Sunday morning.
Police said Joseph Hendrickson, 55, of 12 Pico Avenue, St Margaret's was walking along the old train line at King's Wharf, San Fernando when he was attacked.
Around 11. 30 am, a man walked up to him and pointed a gun at his face.
The bandit stole $150 cash and a Nokia phone valued at $100.
Upset at the loot, the gun pointed the gun at Hendrickson, shot in his left foot and ran away.
San Fernando police were called in and the victim was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital.
Up to yesterday the suspect had not been found.
