Two men have been remanded into custody after appearing in different courts charged with murder.
Randy Francis, 29, appeared before Chaguanas Magistrate Joanne Connor yesterday charged with the murder of Darren Williams.
Williams was shot dead in Chaguanas on September 4. Francis was arrested last week and charged by Sgt Ramjug. He has to reappear in court on November 16.
Meanwhile, Dyke Williams, 34, of Marshall Street, La Brea, appeared in the Point Fortin Court before Senior Magistrate Maria Busby Earle-Caddle charged with the murder of Dareem Payne.
Payne, 24, of Three Hands, La Brea, was walking along a trace on March 15 when he was shot. Williams was arrested in Arima last week and charged by PC Ramsubhag. He is expected to reappear on November 11.
