The State funeral for former prime minister Patrick Manning has started at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Port-of-Spain. Among dignitaries are President Anthony Carmona and his wife, Reema; Prime Minister Dr Keith Rolwey and his wife Sharon, Chief Justice Ivor Archie and his wife, Denise, former president Prof George Maxwell Richards and his wife Jean, Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar and her husband, Gregory.
The Presentation College Choir, the Lydian Singers and the Southernaires Choir will deliver renditions.
The first hymn is now being sung - Enter into Jerusalem.
