Police have not ruled out homicide in the death of a Point Fortin woman whose decomposing body was found in a shack on Saturday night. According to reports, Jennel Gabrielle, 43, was discovered in the shack around 7 pm at Agard Road by a homeless man, who was identified as Leon Beache.
Point Fortin police, led by Supt Palloo, ASP Jagroop and Sgt Gosine, went to the dilapidated ten feet by ten feet structure and found the woman lying on the ground with blood running from her ears and mouth.
Residents told police that the woman recently began staying in the shack, which had a locked door. They said they believed that she was involved in drugs, as she used to slide through a window in order to get inside.
PC Patrice is investigating.
