An argument over land almost cost a Princes Town man his life on Friday night after he was shot in the stomach by a neighbour.
Up to yesterday, Dwayne Mc Intosh, 25, was warded in a serious but stable condition at the San Fernando General Hospital.
Police said Mc Intosh was outside his Looney Road, Indian Walk, home when he got into an argument with his neighbour. The suspect pulled out a gun, shot Mc Intosh once in the stomach and ran off.
Princes Town CID officers PC Ramkissoon and PC Ali found Mc Intosh lying outside his home. They took him to the Princes Town District Health Facility where he was treated and transferred to the San Fernando hospital.
The suspect was held in Princes Town. KF
